I'm a Ruli...Thank you so much for your insight. I'm a Ruling Elder who fills in for my Pastor in a Presbyterian church, and I was just approached for Pulpit Supply by another church in our Presbytery (only to go on their list, not to actually preach yet). I had never heard the term "Pulpit Supply" before being asked, but the thought of being able to share God's Word with others on a more regular basis fills me with so much joy. <br /><br />I understand that your post is nearly nine(!) years old, but I'd be interested if you could offer any insight as to how I can cast my net wider, and any tips you'd offer to a "newbie" such as myself. I do have several of my sermons available online as podcasts, and God is definitely leading me to Seminary. <br /><br />Thanks again for sharing this.
