We're enjoying a wonderful Christmas Eve; I hope you are, too.
Thankfully, I can put concerns of candidacy, transition, and future ministry aside for now, and simply relish being with my family. I hope others who are facing transition can do the same, though I'm sure that not everyone is able to let go of it that easily-- especially if the transition is immanent, and the freedom of putting it aside is not something they are at liberty to take.
My prayer for all in ministry-- and especially those who are in transition-- is that this Christmas would be a time of rest and family, of worship with the body, and of joyous remembrance and celebration of the birth of our Savior.
Happy Christmas, everyone!
